Hired Rene (瑞內) as a teacher on 26 May 2017.
Two-year teaching contract from 1 July 2017 to 31 July 2019 (one month of obligatory "must pass" training).
Knew Rene (瑞內) spent three years in psychiatric incarceration in Canada, and that Taiwan law required a foreign Criminal Record check (to ensure no teachers are sexual offenders), and hired Rene (瑞內) without conducting a background check.
Managers explicitly told Rene (瑞內) they wouldn't do the background check after Rene (瑞內) told the managers that he'd probably fail.
Stayed alone with students in a hotel room during an overnight school trip on 14 Aug 2017.
Managers told Rene (瑞內) not to inform clients of his criminal past on 28 Dec 2017.
Managers told Rene (瑞內) to submit a mental assessment on 25 Jan 2018.
In court on 26 Nov 2018, managers testified they fired Rene (瑞內) on 25 Jan 2018.
In court on 26 Nov 2018, managers testified they never knew Rene (瑞內) spent almost three years in psychiatrist hospitals.

107年11月26日在法庭上，管理人員作證稱，他們於107年1月25日解雇了瑞內。
107年11月26日在法庭上，經理們作證說，他們從不知道瑞內在精神病醫院待了將近三年。
正在進行民事和刑事訴訟。

The accompanying card was for Lover's Day on 14 Feb 2018 to celebrate our official Honeymoon. I had planned to put them on the news, and I did manage to get myself video-recorded by a Set TV News on 14 Feb 2018, but the agreed story didn't broadcast as intended, and a royal mix-up followed.

It was really only a matter of time. After all, she did hire me knowing that I'd spent about three years in Canadian psychiatric prisons. She also knew I had a criminal record, and that I am diligently trying to restore my teaching credibility, despite her insistence that I should keep it a secret.
