The little lie grew and grew.  And it had been growing since 28 Dec 2017, when the managers asked their Schizophrenic teacher, Rene, not to tell their clients about his criminal history or mental health struggles.  The managers insisted "this is Taiwan, nobody cares about your Canadian history" and "we don't want to scare anyone".

Rene certainly never agreed to deceive anyone, since peace depends on honesty, and honesty requires consistency of laws.  When the cram school managers told Rene that they want Rene to deceive clients who trusted Rene, Rene simply became more public.  After all, telling Rene what you don't want Rene to do is only going to make him ask you "Why not?"

The above statement is one of twelve which Kidsland Sesame Street English school managers allege is ruining the school's reputation.  But the managers are deceiving prosecutors about the fact that they knowingly evaded Taiwan's national security checks to hire a foreign convicted criminal whom psychiatrists declared too crazy to work as a teacher.

The teacher only wants his credibility restored!  He had asked the school to help restore his credibility, and they agreed.  Now they're trying to renege the original agreement.  The criminal court file in the Tainan District Court is 「南院武刑歲108易1170字第1090042211號」.

Even more incredible, the judge allows a psychiatrist to say "Sorry, I can't perform the court-requested mental assessment because Rene refuses to believe that thinking originates in his body.  You'll just have to accept the fact he's Schizophrenic, and just never receive an official assessment from me".  Reference:

Without surprise, the Tainan District Criminal court did not investigate this submission establishing the above statement as true and publicly relevant, and therefore not malicious character destruction.  If anything, this page, together with the rest, establishes that Taiwan's legal system is corrupt.

Re-reading this statement three years after I first wrote it, I remember this logic:

I really loved teaching at Kidsland.  I thought it was the best school.  However, the general manager tricked me.  She hired me knowing that I needed advertisement to restore my reputation in Canada.  When I began a public petition against Canada, I advertised it only on my own time and not at the school.  The general manager asked two other senior managers to make sure that no clients at the school discover that I was in prison in Canada.  I began the petition on 26 Dec 2017.  The managers told me that I had to attend an obligatory meeting on 28 Dec 2017 about it, or I didn't need to come to work anymore.  At the meeting, Stacy (黃姿瑜) and Denise (徐乙彤) asked me to help the school keep my secret.  It was literally a threat, and the managers required me to deceive clients.  I don't want this to be a secret!  I want everyone to know the psychiatrists in Canada can accuse college teachers of crimes, and then imprison the teacher without a criminal trial!  A school that requires teachers to deceive clients cannot be one of the best, and must in fact be among the worst because the school has an unethical business conduct and its managers cannot be trusted.

The second statement, the Chinese language did not come from Rene, so deny its evidence capacity, and please investigate the truth of the English statement:

2. "Rene insisted Kidsland share information about teachers to parents.  Some teachers look at parents like a game.  They talk with parents over LINE app for dates and sex."

Regarding "Rene insisted Kidsland share information about teachers to parents.":

The statement is not slander but reminds the public about Taiwan's legislation.  Rene insisted that Kidsland should share publicly relevant information about teachers, for example, if a foreign teacher has previous criminal convictions in the foreign country, and the offense constitutes a sexual offense in Taiwan, then Kidsland must have a reasonable excuse to hire the teacher because Article 9 of the Supplementary Education Act (台灣補習及進修教育法第9條), Article 5 (item 4--against decent morals) of the Employment Services Act (就業服務法第5條), and Article 81-1 of the The Protection of Children and Youths Welfare and Rights Act (兒童及少年福利與權益保障法第81-1條) require Kidsland not to hire previously convicted sexual offenders.

Of course, Rene (瑞內) wasn't a sex offender, but the point is that Kidsland (凱仕蘭) managers knew about the criminal convictions in Canada, which the law required Kidsland (凱仕蘭) managers to investigate, and which the Kidsland (凱仕蘭) managers intentionally ignored.  In neglecting their legal responsibility, they are allowing Rene (瑞內) to use the situation to restore the wrongful Canadian ruling that began this whole mess.  That's sort of the point of the law… the whole part about actually protecting the innocent, etc.  And there are a great many laws in Taiwan that Kidsland (凱仕蘭) managers violated, not just those three, far too many to individually list.

該法律規定，性犯罪者不能在補習班任教。凱仕蘭無法合法地向客戶隱瞞此類信息。而且，在凱仕蘭僱用性侵者之後，法院是否會期望這樣的人不參與有關性的遊戲？

The law stipulates that sex offenders cannot be teachers at cram schools.  Kidsland cannot legally withhold such information from clients.  And, after Kidsland hires sexual predators, would the court expect such an individual not to engage in games about sex?

二、關於

"Some‧teachers‧look‧at‧parents‧like‧a‧game.‧They‧talk‧with‧parents‧over‧LINE‧app‧for‧dates‧and‧sex."：

 

真實 | Truth

瑞內以自己為例，以保護另外兩名從事同樣不適當對話的外國人。在此示例中，瑞內與“Christine”之間的對話發生在106年11月6日。

Rene uses himself as an example, to protect the identities of two other foreigners engaging in equally inappropriate dialog.  In this example, the conversation occurred on 6 Nov 2017 between Rene and "Christine".

Christine來接學生Eric，他是瑞內的1年級學生。瑞內開始稱讚成年人有從事性行為的意圖：瑞內邀請Christine使用“Wickr”，這是一款類似於LINE的聊天應用程序，但Wickr並未留下對話記錄。顯然，對於從事潛在爭議對話的個人而言，最好不要保留其他非法行為的記錄。

"Christine" picked up Student Eric, who was in Rene's Grade 1 class.  Rene began complimenting the adult with the intention to engage in sexual activity: Rene invited "Christine" to use "Wickr", a chat App like LINE but Wickr does not leave a record of the conversation.  Obviously is better for individuals, who engage in potentially controversial conversations, to not maintain a record of otherwise illegal actions.

The truth of the statement can also be proved from any public report about foreign teachers engaging in sexual misconduct with cram school clients or children.

 

而與公共利益 | Public interest

在這種情況下，加拿大警察和精神病醫生指稱瑞內存在性偏差（愛痴迷和對性的不適當或極端渴望）。自然地，一個性行為異常的人會試圖引誘毫無戒心的人進行性行為。法院是否懷疑這種行為與公共無關？

In this case, the Canadian police and psychiatrists accused Rene of sexual deviance (love obsession and inappropriate or extreme desire for sex).  Naturally, a sexually deviant person will try to lure unsuspecting people into sex.  Does the court doubt that such behaviour is not publicly relevant?

在西方國家，對中國人（台灣人）有巨大的偏見。英文表達“黃熱病”的意思是“只有亞洲人才能滿足的性熱”。因為英語中有“黃熱病”一詞，所以可以肯定的是，許多外國人將亞洲人（尤其是年輕，自滿，天真，苗條，有魅力的亞洲女性）視為性對象。

In western countries there is tremendous prejudice against Chinese (Taiwanese) people.  The English expression "yellow fever" means "sex fever which can only be satisfied by Asians."  Because English has the expression "yellow fever", we can be certain that many foreigners have regarded Asians (especially young, complacent, naïve, slim, attractive Asian females) as sex objects.

重要的是要考慮到，性反常的外國人不會直接表達自己的真實意圖，除非公眾了解示警的舉報。警告公眾的唯一方法是公開討論，這需要公開宣傳。台灣媒體機構確實在幾年前就開始刊登一些極端案例的廣告，這導致台灣制定了旨在將性掠食者（狼老師）拒之門外的國家立法。但是人們會忘記，還有更多的人是天真的。

It is important to consider that the sexually deviant foreigners might not directly express their true intentions, unless the public is aware of tell-tale signs.  And the only way to warn the public is by opening discussion about it, and that requires publicity.  Taiwan media agencies did begin advertising some extreme cases a few years ago, and that led to Taiwan's national legislation designed to keep sexual predators (wolf teachers) out of schools.  But people forget, and many more people are naïve.
